Day 2 : TEMPTATIONS

This everyday blogging was harder than I thought. It used to be easy when you have nothing smart to say, but when you're trying prove something, you begin to think what you say before you write it; before FINALLY publishing it.

But I've decided to go with complete honesty and document everything about this journey, so here I go.

I got up early and bought eggs, My aunt cooked her gourmet style eggs. Yum.

My aunt and I went out to get some dog food that afternoon, we saw this place where temptation was sold. We... shamefully.... bought it.

I was furious.

Considering I already ate temptation # 1, temptation # 2 (the can of potato chips) stared me at the face the whole time I was watching television, I handed it to grandma, but she handed it back, I ATE another half a can *shakes head in disappointment*

BUT, TUMMY WAS STILL NOT CONTENT, IT ASKED FOR SOMETHING MORE FILLING. AND I... POPPED SOME CORN.

Only then eating the apple in question.

So If I were to learn anything from this, it would have to be that I CANT TRUST MY STOMACH.

Whether it says its hungry or not, I must eat properly, ELSE, it will betray me and ultimately send me to my doom.

First Bite

This is what i know about Apples.

1. I don't like them.
2. It is once said that they keep doctors away. (like garlic for vampires)
3.  I believe number 2 to be factual.
4. Its the name of a certain over priced brand.
5. Adam has an Apple.
6. Apparently, Eve wanted one too, so she ate the forbidden fruit.
7. Its all Christian Bale ate when he lost more than 60 pounds.
8. It's what sent Snow White to Lala-Land before the Prince kissed her back to awareness.
9. It is featured in the cover of Twilight, (one of the very few things i liked about Twilight)
10. some say, its shaped like the heart.
11. It's what Shinigami's eat (Death Note)
12. Archers use it for target practice. (apples on top of a persons head)
13. It makes a good projectile object.
14. Sire Isaac Newton is very fond of apples.

So far I had all that thought of.

Then this one commercial went on.

It wont necessarily mean anything to anyone, but apples are also what's placed on a pigs mouth when it's  made into a lechon.

So i made this for pun/fun :p

So it took me one hour to finish a single apple, mostly because I took pictures and videos of me doing so, but, i guess its not that bad.

As for my meal, my Aunt brought home this delicious Tinapa from Bataan. It went well with fried rice and the side dish of sliced tomatoes with a pinch of salt.

BUT THEN!

That's not the only thing my Aunt brought back.

She also brought...

TEMPTATION.

What will become of our epic hero? Will she fall into TEMPTATION or be able to over come her biggest fear?

Stay tuned for more episodes of.

DEATH BY APPLE.

PS.

Yes, i did fall into temptation.. I hate half a can, and took a walk around the village with my aunt, i feel so bad about it. Graaahhh!!

Till next time!

An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away.

16 years ago I remember being in a short play. I was the Apple and I recall memorizing this
very line. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

Irony is, I really hated apples -- the texture, the taste, the way it went down the throat and staying there even after a few glasses of water, ugh.

Then... I watched Batman : The Dark Knight Rises... Not once.. Not twice... Maybe even more than that. I was stuck in a trance. I'm not sure what pulled me in... Maybe it was the darkness of it all, or the hopelessness . I don't know.

Or Maybe it was Christian Bale? Hmmm, prolly not, but I'm not that sure anymore, but I have to admit that the person behind the mask really is indeed quite interesting, aye?

I mean come on, its the focus, the conviction, the dedication that he puts into a role. Maybe it inspired me. Or maybe he's a little insane, but maybe so am I.

I mean, have you seen his transformation from

this to this

What's creepy is that it goes the other way around.

And all he ate were damned apples and a can of Tuna, sometimes only apples and coffee (black).

It's insane; it's crazy; it's dangerous. But i'll try this DIE-eth and document it, and maybe live afterwards and go around and brag about it *shrugs*

But why did it have to be apples?

Maybe it's not the apples at all, I mean, losing weight, for a person like me it's an everyday thing. One must take risks; one must face its fears; one must battle its self, its cravings. It's a war, and apples wont kill me.

So we go back to the title. Will an Apple a day really keep the doctor away?

Let's find out.

Starting tomorrow.

Cya apples.
